Upcoming Drama in Demain Nous Appartient: A Character's Death Unfolds

Since returning to Sète, Astrid (played by Lucie Lucas) has faced a series of unfortunate events in Demain Nous Appartient. After surviving an assault at her home, she narrowly escaped an attempted poisoning. Believing that Gautier Sénès, her former colleague, is behind her troubles, she resorted to faking her own death during a boat outing.

This isn't the first time Astrid has tried to evade Gautier; she initially moved to Sète in hopes of putting an end to his harassment. However, as is typical in Demain Nous Appartient, things are unlikely to unfold as she planned. The situation is poised to become even more complex for Chloé (Ingrid Chauvin), Erica (Shirley Bousquet), Audrey (Charlotte Gaccio), and Victoire (Solène Hébert).

Gautier's Murder

In the episode airing on July 8, which is already available on the TF1+ platform, a passerby stumbles upon a body at the foot of the cornice, near the Lanneau creek. Initially, the police suspect it might be Astrid. However, they soon confirm that the victim is, in fact, Gautier Sénès.

Preliminary investigations reveal signs of a struggle at the crime scene. "In any case, it wasn't the altercation that caused the death; it was more likely the fall," explains Damien, adding, "We found no signs of forced entry into the car. The victim's papers were inside, along with his cards. There was no cash present."

Commander Constant is skeptical of the theory that this was merely an altercation gone wrong. "Astrid Kiegel has disappeared, and a few days later, her harasser is murdered... I don’t know, it seems a bit far-fetched, doesn’t it?" he remarks to his team.

Is Astrid Involved in Gautier's Death?

At this point, it remains unclear whether Astrid played a role in Gautier's murder. However, several factors are beginning to raise suspicions. The day before his death, Gautier had confided in Erica that Astrid allegedly stole 50,000 euros from him. He wasn't seeking to extort money but rather to reclaim what he believed was rightfully his. This narrative starkly contrasts with Astrid's claim of being a victim of blackmail after supposedly misappropriating 6,000 euros from her company.

Adding to the intrigue, Astrid appears to have left Sète without informing Chloé and her friends, just as Gautier's body is discovered on the beach. In a note left in her hotel room, she writes, "Thank you for everything, and don’t look for me. I’ve already caused you too much trouble."
