Chloé's Dilemma Involving Astrid

In a tense moment, Astrid confides in Chloé about her drastic plan to fake her own death in order to escape the clutches of Gautier, who is threatening her life. She has informed her mother, who will join her and her daughter in Tunisia at the end of summer. Astrid pleads with Chloé to keep her secret safe and not disclose anything to anyone.

The following day, Audrey is visibly anxious when she spots Manon and Nordine at the café counter, but her worries dissipate when she realizes they are merely there for takeout coffee. Relieved, she texts her friends to confirm that Chloé has not spoken to the police regarding Astrid.

At the hospital, Victoire encounters Chloé and takes the opportunity to thank her in person. However, Chloé makes it clear that she does not support the current situation.

Meanwhile, at the hotel, Victoire and Erica offer to buy Astrid a boat ticket to Spain for Saturday morning at 6 AM, suggesting that the authorities are lax about identity checks. In gratitude, Astrid gifts them one of her earrings, with another set aside for Audrey.

Later, Erica finds herself being followed by Gautier. She confronts him, accusing him of being responsible for Astrid's supposed suicide. Gautier dismisses her claims, asserting that he believes Astrid is a liar and a fraud, and he continues to demand the money he is owed, vowing not to let her go.

At the police station, Martin considers closing the case on Astrid's death, leaning towards an accident conclusion. At that moment, Nordine receives a call from the boat rental service, informing him that they have discovered more of Astrid's belongings in the cabin.

At the hotel, Astrid encourages Audrey to pursue a new career path, assisting her in revamping her CV. Later, Martin brings Victoire a copy of "The Count of Monte Cristo," a book belonging to Astrid that was found on the boat.
