Bayern Munich Prepares Bid for Lukas Hornicek
Bayern Munich is reportedly preparing an offer for goalkeeper Lukas Hornicek, who is currently contracted with SC Braga until 2028. The German club's interest has intensified, with a potential bid of €30 million on the horizon.

Lukas Hornicek has recently emerged as a potential transfer target for Bayern Munich, and it appears the German giants are ready to take serious steps towards securing his services.
Reports from Portugal indicate that Bayern has been monitoring Hornicek's progress for some time. However, the interest from Munich now seems to be more concrete than previously thought.
According to journalist Bruno Andrade from CNN Portugal, Bayern is preparing to make an initial offer for the goalkeeper. The proposal will be directed to SC Braga, the Portuguese club with which Hornicek has a contract until 2028. The exact amount of Bayern's bid remains unclear, but FC Porto is also reportedly interested in the player.
Will Bayern Munich Need to Pay €30 Million for Hornicek?
Braga is understandably reluctant to part with their first-choice goalkeeper but is said to be open to discussions if a bid of €30 million is presented. Hornicek, who has a history with Braga from his youth days, was also included in the Czech Republic's World Cup squad, although he did not see any playing time.
At just 24 years old, Hornicek possesses the ideal physical and mental attributes required for a modern top goalkeeper. His strengths both on the line and as a playing goalkeeper make him an appealing option for teams that employ a high defensive line.
Currently, Bayern Munich's goalkeeping situation sees Manuel Neuer extending his contract for another year, while Jonas Urbig is slated to be the successor in the future.
