Goretzka's High Demands Complicate Juventus Move
Leon Goretzka, a high-profile free agent after leaving Bayern Munich, faces challenges in negotiations with Juventus due to his substantial salary and signing bonus demands.

Leon Goretzka is currently on the lookout for a new club following his departure from Bayern Munich. As he navigates his options, reports suggest that Juventus is intensifying their interest in the midfielder. However, Goretzka's substantial demands may complicate potential negotiations.
Since leaving Bayern this summer, Goretzka has emerged as one of the most sought-after free agents. Several clubs have expressed interest in the German international, including Arsenal, Atlético Madrid, AC Milan, SSC Napoli, and even MLS side Chicago Fire, which has reportedly inquired about his terms.
Despite the interest from various teams, Goretzka's preference remains to continue playing at a high level in European football, ideally with a club that has ambitions for international success.
Goretzka's Financial Expectations
According to a report by "Calciomercato," Juventus is actively pursuing Goretzka and has recently intensified their communications with his agency, Roof. The club sees the former Bayern player as a potential leader, both on and off the pitch.
However, progress in negotiations appears to be stalled, primarily due to Goretzka's financial expectations. The report indicates that he is seeking an annual salary of around seven million euros, along with a signing bonus of approximately ten million euros. For Juventus, which finished last season without qualifying for the Champions League, this financial package presents a significant challenge.
To further complicate matters, Juventus is also exploring other options, with Franck Kessié reportedly remaining on their radar.
The message from Turin seems clear: if Goretzka wishes to make the move to Juventus, he may need to reconsider his financial demands.
As both parties look to negotiate in the coming weeks, it remains uncertain whether a compromise can be reached. What is evident is that the former Bayern star continues to be one of the most coveted free agents in the market, yet a decision regarding his future remains pending.
