I discovered Solar Arcs relatively late in my astrological practice. It was only around 2012 that I truly began to take an interest in this astrological technique. This is a progression system, similar to Secondary Progressions, with one key difference: while Secondary Progressions advance the chart according to the principle of 1 day = 1 year, respecting the individual speed of each planet (which means the Moon progresses very quickly while Pluto barely moves), Solar Arc Directions adopt a different logic. They also rely on the equivalence of 1 day = 1 year, but project all planets at the same speed: that of the Sun, hence their name.
