Köln Faces Competition for Otto Rosengren

The 1. FC Köln is facing competition in their pursuit of Otto Rosengren, a 23-year-old midfielder from Malmö FF. An English Championship club has entered the fray, making the race for the Swedish player more intense.
According to reports from Expressen, Köln is not the only club interested in securing Rosengren's services this summer. Middlesbrough, a team in the English second tier, has also expressed interest and has already reached out to the player’s representatives to discuss a potential transfer.
Recently, representatives from Köln were in Malmö during a match where the local team, IFK Göteborg, was defeated 4-0. Their visit was reportedly aimed at advancing discussions regarding Rosengren’s transfer.
Rosengren's contract with Malmö is set to run until 2027. He made a move to Malmö in the summer of 2023, transferring from Mjällby for a fee of 1.5 million euros.
